Woodingdean - Age UK Brighton and Hove are Distributing Small Grants for People Struggling to Keep Their Homes Warm

Age Uk Brighton and Hove are distributing small grants up to a maximum of £125 for people in Brighton & Hove who are struggling to keep their homes warm.

The eligibility criteria this year are one or more of:

  • Aged 65+
  • Long term breathing, heart or circulatory condition (e.g. asthma, COPD, heart disease etc)
  • Child / children under 5 in household
  • Struggling financially to heat the home. This includes cutting down on buying essential items or getting into debt in order to heat the home (judgement of the referrer, making use of a briefing sheet to be provided)
