The final phase of a Brighton business park, which has been eight years in the making, has been completed.
Regeneration specialist St Modwen completed the final phase of Woodingdean Business Park with the handover of a bespoke new building developed for home removal company GB Liners, which has been operating in Brighton since the 1920s.

The business park, located just outside the city centre at Woodingdean, comprises 130,000 sq ft of office and industrial space. The final phase included a 12,000 sq ft storage facility for GB Liners.

Nick Kay, development director at St Modwen, said: "Woodingdean Business Park is thriving and we’re pleased to have supported the expansion of GB Liners with a bespoke building which caters for its business needs in such a sought after location.
"There’s no doubt that Brighton’s commercial market is on the move which the level of activity at Woodingdean Business Park clearly demonstrates. Our success here means that St. Modwen is now actively seeking further development opportunities in the city."
St. Modwen developed six phases of offices and industrial units of varying sizes at the business park, including six speculatively built starter units which are now fully occupied and 16 front door offices of which only one remains available.
Robert Bartrup, managing director of GB Liners, said: "Brighton is a great place to do business but lacks industrial ground suitable for storage and distribution businesses such as GB Liners. Woodingdean Business Park has given us the space we need to continue to grow our business with a large scale storage facility."
