Peacehaven Christmas Fair
On Saturday 15th December at the Evangelical Free Church in Peacehaven is hosting a Christmas Fair. The event will take place between 11am and 4pm. The fair is being organised by mum Natasha Burt and all the money raised will go to the Threshold Women's Counselling and Crèche Service, a mental health project for women in Brighton.
At 2pm there will be a live auction with plenty of exciting items up for grabs. Hot food, drinks and mince pies will keep you refreshed and loads of Christmas-themed stalls, handmade gifts, face painting, Santa's Grotto, and a bouncy castle will put everyone in the Christmas spirit!
Natasha is raising money for Threshold Women's Counselling a charity she has supported since the berth of her so. Here is her story
I had my gorgeous son in October 2010 she explains, and after a traumatic birth I suffered from postnatal depression. I attended a fantastic support group at the Roundabout Children's centre after being referred through my health visitor and went on to have some further counselling at Threshold Women's Counselling and creche Service. Threshold has given me a new perspective on life and the creche service was vital to allow me with peace of mind while having my counselling and to the attend the wonderful therapeutic sessions. I now mentor other ladies struggling with similar issues to myself and would love to help this Charity by saying a big thank you for getting me back on my feet again.
