At Woodingdean In Business towers we can’t quite believe that it is the 1st March today. The year seems to be zipping past (unlike the traffic on Warren Road as I write this). Below is a short synopsis of what we have been posting on WIB recently – it’s in date order to make it easy to see how much is going on. Saturday 2 March – Varndean College are running a ‘De-Clutter your life’ workshop at Woodingdean Youth Centre between 10am and 3pm – The course is being run by Louise Swan and is designed to help you de-clutter your space and belongings. https://www.woodingdeaninbusiness.co.uk/article.php?id=149
Saturday 2 March – If you have ever thought about being a volunteer befreiender then FUN in Action for Children are looking for Volunteers to support a child and get to know their parents and are running an open house event this Saturday at their offices. For more information click here.
Wednesday 6 March – Blood donations are urgently needed around Sussex – and if you are healthy, between 17 and 65 and weight more than 50 Kg (thats 7st 12lbs in old money) why not get along to Brighton racecourse on 6 March between 2 and 4pm and 5.30 and 8pm. Wednesday 6 March – Nuffield Hospital Woodingdean are holding a Cosmetic Open Evening for the public. The evening starts at 6.30 and Andre Yelland, Leading consultant and plastic surgeon will be at the event to answer any questions you may have. Thursday 7 March – The Martlets are running their popular Music Quiz – hosted by the lovely Mark Little. The Woodingdeaninbusiness team came a poor 10th last year! Saturday 16 |March – friends of Downs View are holding a ball at the Amex Stadium. It promises to be a fantastic evening – with a three-course meal, entertainment, a live band, raffle and auction.
