Hair by Ricky Clarke (50 Warren Road)  is holding a Help the Heroes charity day on Saturday 16 February – a day of hair cutting with all the proceeds going to Help the Heroes www.woodingdeaninbusiness.co.uk/article.php?id=148

Woodingdean Primary School has signed up to the Martlets Hospice phone recycling scheme – so if you have an old phone  that you don’t need any more please do pass it to them – or drop it into the Martlets Shop on Warren way www.woodingdeaninbusiness.co.uk/article.php?id=147

Antonia Shepherd from the Martlets fundraising department is not only running 3 Marathons this year – but she is also offering her services as an ironer, hooverer or polisher to help raise additional funds. Friday 1 March sees the Friends of Downs View School, Woodingdean running a Mediumship and Psychic Evening.. Tickets cost £3 per person – and you can have a personal reading for an additional £3. Sunday 10 March sees Music Theatre 2000  performing ‘With a song in my heart’ at the Barn Theatre Southwick from 3pm – a special Mother’s day concert.
