Hair by Ricky Clarke (50 Warren Road) \u00a0is holding a Help the Heroes charity day on Saturday 16 February <\/b>– a day of hair cutting with all the proceeds going to Help the Heroes\u00a0www.woodingdeaninbusiness.co.uk\/article.php?id=148<\/a><\/p>\n

Woodingdean Primary School has signed up to the Martlets Hospice phone recycling scheme – so if you have an old phone \u00a0that you don’t need any more please do pass it to them – or drop it into the Martlets Shop on Warren way\u00a0www.woodingdeaninbusiness.co.uk\/article.php?id=147<\/a><\/p>\n

Antonia Shepherd from the Martlets fundraising department is not only running 3 Marathons this year – but she is also offering her services as an ironer, hooverer or polisher to help raise additional funds. If you have a ‘bob a job’ (well more than a bob but you get our drift) that you’d like Antonia to do please do contact her campaign manager\u00a0Rachel.chitty@themartletshospice.co.uk<\/a>. Friday 1 March<\/b> sees the Friends of Downs View School, Woodingdean running a Mediumship and Psychic Evening.. Tickets cost \u00a33 per person – and you can have a personal reading for an additional \u00a33. All funds raised will go to the Friends of Downs View charity. Sunday 10 March<\/b> sees Music Theatre 2000 \u00a0performing ‘With a song in my heart’ at the Barn Theatre Southwick from 3pm – a special Mother’s day concert.
