Well it’s April and the school Easter holidays but right now it feels like the middle of winter, only with longer lighter days to appreciate the clouds for more hours! Wednesday 10 April<\/b> – Woodingdean\u00a0Tenants\u00a0and Residents meeting – 7.30pm Woodingdean Community Centre. Cityclean are coming along to talk about rubbish so if you have any thoughts or opinions why not pop along?<\/p>\n

Local historian Peter Mercer, who was bought up in Woodingdean\u00a0in\u00a0the late 40’s and 50’s and has written 3 books about the area and\u00a0has an\u00a0extensive archive of photographs of\u00a0the\u00a0village will talk about Woodingdean. Friday 14 June<\/b> – Martlets Midnight Walk – a 6 or 13 mile walk raising funds for the Martlets hospice for Women only. Dean Wood BUPA Residential and Nursing home Woodigndean will have it’s first residents from the end of this month – and the marketing suite is now open for more information visit\u00a0https:\/\/www.bupa.co.uk\/individuals\/care-homes\/choosing-a-bupa-care-home\/find-a-care-home\/dean-wood-nursing-and-residential-home<\/a><\/p>\n

Woodingdean primary school PTFA won the build14me.com bursary and the site is currently being designed and built. The Woodingdeaninbusiness team were delighted to be asked to judge a logo competition where pupils at Woodingdean Primary school put forward their ideas for a PTFA logo.
